Karoe m'a ''dédié'' cette chanson il y a quelques mois, un peu après notre séparation, sur le coup je n'ai pas vraiment prêté attention, me disant qu'elle était seulement peinée et en colère et je ne voulais pas me sentir plus coupable que je ne me sentait déja. Ce qui me fait rire en réécoutant cet extrait, c'est que cela marche parfaitement avec la situation...
Il y avait une autre personne qui, en quelque sorte, m'intéressait énormément et pourtant je ne pourrais plus compter les fois où cette personne là me causait de la peine. Idiote et aveugle comme j'étais, je focusais sur les moments où cette personne avait bien voulu dire qu'elle tenait à moi, qu'elle m'aimait et les moments heureux que nous avions eues ensembles. Pourtant, ces joies ne font même pas le poids face à la souffrance que cette fille m'a causé.
Cependant, je la trouvais, honnêtement, vraiment, vraiment belle. C'était mon amie depuis un bon moment et elle connaissait une petite partie de mes moments les plus difficiles. Lorsque que nous parlions, nous étions très rarement en désaccord, mais je me rends compte aujourd'hui que j'ai toujours eu une réticence à lui dire mes pensées, une nervosité me bloquait. Pour ma cause, lorsque j'ai essayé de lui exprimer mes émotions à propos d'elle, elle m'a envoyé baladé en répétant au moins 100 fois qu'elle ne voulait plus me voir.
Je pense que si j'étais aussi réticente, c'est parce que je la trouvais vraiment ''parfaite'' en sachant que si je disais quelque chose de trop ''avancé'', je verrais une partie d'elle que je ne voulais vraiment pas voir. Je pense que j'ai eu droit au grand spectacle. Au fond, j'aurais dû m'y attendre, tous ces amis finissent par lui tourner le dos et je me disais toujours que cela était de leur faute, je me mentais à moi même, parce qu'elle n'est pas contrôlable et il faut toujours que tu fasses tout comme ELLE, elle le veut. Tant que tu te plies à ses nombreuses règles, tu as la chance de survivre à son courou, sinon, go out of her life.
Donc, pour la chanson, je ferais la personne ''aveugle'', karoe ferait celle qui chante et Miss perfect not so perfect ferait la méchante petite amie.
ET, maintenant Karoe, j'ouvre les yeux et je vois bien que OUI, I Belong with you et que tu me rendras plus heureuse qu'elle ne l'a jamais fait. Maintenant que j'ai osé te le dire en face, je te l'écris: JE T'AIME! I LOVE U!
